Cleveland Consent Decree Conversation
|Date:||March 10, 2021|
Session 3: Accountability, Transparency and Oversight
United Way of Greater Cleveland and the Cleveland Branch of the NAACP invite you to the third Community Conversation – part of our 10-month, in-depth series of dialogue centering on police reform mandated through the Consent Decree and its ramifications for our community.
Join us in March for a conversation focusing on transparency within the Cleveland Division of Police and accountability measures for officer misconduct. Our panel will discuss the policies that have been put in place to ensure accountability, what the Cleveland Division of Police has done to improve oversight, and what still needs to be done to increase transparency and build trust with the community.
We’ll ask questions, gain insight and listen in as Cleveland community leaders and experts help us navigate this issue.
This 10-month virtual event series is complimentary and open to the public. The 2021 initiative is part of United Way of Greater Cleveland’s Public Policy Agenda to advocate, convene and support issues that impact Greater Cleveland. The series is possible through partnership with The City Club of Cleveland.
